On this unique journey we begin our adventure on Crete and then travel by by ferry to Gavdos, the fabled magical isle of Calypso, just 25 miles across the Libyan Sea. Keep an eye out for dolphins on the way to this remote, unspoiled paradise! The island of Gavdos is the southernmost point of Europe - the next landfall is Africa, which we can see from Gavdos’ high southern cliffs. Depending on weather conditions, we will circumnavigate Gavdos and may venture over to its tiny neighbor, Gavdopoula, before returning to the south coast of Crete.
