This expedition is ship-based. Shore excursions, hikes and Zodiac outings will maximize wildlife viewing and opportunities to explore. Comfortable accommodations and onboard staff who are experts in a variety of subjects combine to make this a very unique opportunity. Those team members participating on the Shackleton Crossing will spend a minimum of 3 nights in a rugged alpine environment traveling by ski & pulk and sleeping in tents.
