If you are an intermediate or advanced paddler looking for a first-class wilderness kayak tour, join us for a week of paddling one of the most scenic sixty-mile stretches of coastline in the Great Lakes. We will paddle through pristine wilderness, past white sand beaches, and explore the mouths of cascading rivers as they join forces with Lake Superior. This is one of the finest wilderness paddling adventures Gitchee Goomee has to offer.
What papers do I need for travel?
US citizens need a valid US passport. Non-US citizens should contact their nearest Canadian embassy for document requirements.
Do I need to get any shots before traveling?
No inoculations or boosters are necessary.
Where should I stay overnight around there?
If you plan to arrive early or stay late, give the office a call for a recommendation on a great place to stay.
What money should I take?
You won’t need money during the trip, but you will need purchase parking passes for the Pukaskwa if you plan to drive.
What's the currency? Exchange rate? Where can I exchange money?
Canadian dollars. The rate has been fluctuating recently, but the Canadian dollar is currently slightly weaker than the US dollar.

We will be pitching camp in backcountry campsites. We bring lightweight Kelty or Eureka 2-man tents.
