 Whether it's paddling at on the shores of Lake Michigan, exploring the ecology of Devil's Lake while rock climbing, or going on an overnight kayaking adventure in northern Wisconsin, The Northwest Passage's summer youth and teen programs teach water safety, responsibility, and instill confidence in all of our participants. Above all, our programs promote having FUN in a welcoming, social environment for youth of all abilities. We offer a wide array of half-day, full-day and overnight programs for youth of all ages.  Water Week Kayak Camp

Want something new and exciting for your youngsters this summer? Half-Day Water Week is the adventure you’re looking for. Participants learn the basics of kayaking, water safety and have blast playing around in beautiful Lake Michigan. NWP staff provides a safe environment and fun, new challenges everyday. Ages 9-13 Introduce your paddlers to the skills, techniques and leadership required to enjoy the excitement of kayaking. This course will provide kids with the basic skills to tour on the water. Throughout the week your aspiring adventurer will grow to love the magic a paddle through the water can bring! Ages 9-13

LEAP (Leadership Education Achieved in Paddling)

Participants learn to rock climb and belay effectively in the first couple days, and then take their skills to the next level by learning advanced techniques. Northwest Passage rock climbing guides create a safe learning environment and challenge participants to master new skills as well as discover boundless self-confidence! AGES 14-17 If your son or daughter wants some adventure in their summer, the TASK Rock Climbing Trip to Kentucky’s Red River Gorge is for them. A favorite amongst professional climbers, “The Red” a beautiful crag in the hills of Kentucky, offers some of the best sport climbing in the country. Come with little or no climbing knowledge, and leave an up-and-coming climbing expert! AGES 14-17 Looking for an amazing opportunity to learn leadership skills and build confidence in paddling skills? Our two week leadership course will teach teens group leadership dynamics and decision making within their peer group through paddling and trip preparation. AGES 14-17
