CPR Training ~ One Day Course
Would you know what to do in a cardiac or breathing emergency? This 2 hour to 5 hour course will teach participants the most up-to-date cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques through hands-on practical learning. Knowledge gained through this course will prepare scouts, in part, in their First Aid Merit Badge requirements. Upon successful completion of the course, graduates will receive a two year certification in CPR training.
Wilderness First Aid ~ Two Day Course
This is an essential course for anyone spending time in the outdoors, where the unexpected can occur in an instant. The two-day course focuses on teaching sound judgement, accurate medical assessments, and proper treatment techniques for first aid situations that one would encounter in the wilderness. Classroom theory and hands on practice make this an invaluable resource for scouts and adult leaders. Leave No Trace ~ Two Day Course
The Leave No Trace concept is simple -- leave the places you enjoy as good or better than you found them. This two day, one night course is designed for scouts and adult leaders who value the land and want to teach others how to protect and preserve it. Easily combined with The Northwest Passage Scout Climbing, Kayaking or Backpacking programs. Graduates will receive a Leave No Trace Trainer certificate and will be qualified to teach Leave No Trace skills and ethics to a variety of groups. Click here for more details.
